Amazon Is Selling Tiny Two-Story House That Can Last Up to 20 Years for Just $27,990

Where do you picture yourself two decades from now? Maybe further along in your career, relaxing with your pets, or possibly living in a cozy, budget-friendly tiny house that costs under $28,000?

Yes, that’s still a good chunk of change – but for a two-story setup with two deck areas and loads of natural light, it’s quite the deal.

With housing prices shooting up compared to just a few decades ago, many people are rethinking their idea of a ‘dream home’ to better fit within realistic budgets.

Jay Shafer, often credited as the pioneer of the tiny home movement, shared his perspective with The US Sun: “Even 25 years ago it was not hard to see how the housing crisis was already happening for a lot of us.”

“It became clearer in 2008, and I think that it’s just, the housing crisis has been perpetuated by a lot of bad laws that prohibit efficiency and affordable housing and until we fix those the crisis will continue.”

With housing costs continuing to rise, ‘tiny houses’ have gained more popularity, with influencers and creators frequently sharing glimpses of their lives in compact homes designed for minimalist living.

This particular home, available for $27,990 on Amazon, offers potential buyers more space than many typical tiny homes. Its second floor and offset layout create two outdoor areas that could be perfect for lounging, grilling, or providing a nice spot for pets to enjoy the outdoors along with their owners.

The home stands 20 feet tall and measures 20 feet by 8 feet, offering enough space inside for kitchen appliances, a bed, a bathroom, and a cozy living area.

Anyone interested in buying a tiny house would, of course, need a piece of land to place it on. However, its compact size means it requires much less space than a traditional home, which could make finding a spot for it much easier.

For those concerned about weather resilience, this prefab house is built to withstand earthquakes, wind, and rain. Plus, it’s ‘easy to install,’ so new owners can move in almost ‘immediately.’

The seller, Emonia, notes: “Our Prefab house can be used for 20 years, with free maintenance within six months.”

This two-story model is one of several offered by the manufacturer, which also produces a variety of furniture pieces.
